About Me
I am a fully qualified Counsellor/Psychotherapist and an Accredited and Registered member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in Counselling from the University of Greenwich, together with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
I work with an Integrative approach, which means I draw from different counselling approaches to provide the right support for you. I am experienced at helping people overcome a wide range of personal issues, including:
- Anxiety and stress
- Relationship and family problems
- Depression
- Abuse and trauma
In addition to my private practice, I work in the NHS offering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to adults and as a school counsellor in a secondary school. I have previously worked as a clinical assessor in a young persons counselling charity and in a large multi national company, counselling employees.
As an Accredited Registered member of the BACP, I abide by their professional code of conduct Ethical Framework for Good Practice and I am committed to ongoing continued professional development.
